Work organization

The organization of work at the GRAFIS printing house is divided into 3 phases:
GRAPHIC PREPARATION, PRINTING and FINISHING.

Graphic preparation

Preparatory phase for creating a graphic product

  • With a work order, we define the key parameters for creating a graphic product: circulation, types of printing and finishing, quantity of materials and time standards...
  • We procure the necessary materials: paper, foil, boards...
  • We check your files (pre-flight) and then do computer editing for printing.

Finishing

  • the final stage in which the graphic product is finalized
  • We refine the printed semi-finished product into a final product, in a given sequence according to the work order: e.g. cutting, bending, gluing...
  • We count, separate and pack the finished product into appropriate packaging (boxes, packages, etc.) as needed.
  • We record the shipment and send it for delivery: via our own free delivery service in the Split area, or via Croatian Post.

Print

The basic stage in which the material is shaped into a semi-finished product

  • We prepare the printing substrate in the appropriate format for printing: paper, foil, envelopes...
  • We adjust the feed on the machine, load the printing substrate and do a test print.
  • We control the quality of the print (colors, register)
  • When all conditions are met, we continue with continuous printing in the quantity specified by the work order.
